History of EBRS

The European Biological Rhythms Society (EBRS) was established in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, on September 4, 2005, as the successor to the European Pineal and Biological Rhythms Society, which was founded in 2000. The roots of EBRS trace back even further to the European Pineal Society, established in 1990, and the European Pineal Study Group (EPSG), founded in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, in 1976. The EPSG, a small but international society, was initiated by Paul Pevet and Johannes Ariëns Kappers. Today, the EBRS boasts over 500 members from Europe and beyond.
