Anayanci Masis Vargas

Anayanci Masís-Vargas is a Ph.D. candidate from the European Joint degree in Chronobiology between the Université de Strasbourg and Universiteit van Amsterdam. During her Ph.D., she has done her research at the Institut des Neurosciences Cellulaires et Intégratives (INCI) in Strasbourg, France, the Hypothalamic Integration Mechanisms group at the Netherlands Institute for Neuroscience (NIN), and the Department of Endocrinology and Metabolism of the Amsterdam UMC in the Netherlands. She studied Human Nutrition at the University of Costa Rica and did a year of ERASMUS in Public Health Epidemiology at Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden. While doing her Master in biomedical sciences (Physiology track) she worked as a teacher assistant at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Costa Rica. Her research experience began at the Center for Research in Neuroscience (CIN) of the University of Costa Rica where she did her master thesis.
